Who Built The Performance System?

I'm Mike Denman. I didn't get to 150 kilograms because I lacked discipline. I had enough discipline to run huge kitchen operations for thirty years. I got there because I gave everything to the work and the family, and my body got what was left.

When I finally had the wakeup call, I couldn't find a system that would fit with my actual life and my responsibilities. I was forced into building my own system that worked with the time I actually had, around the meals I was actually eating, in the schedule I actually kept. I lost eight stone (50kg) and I've kept it off.

The Performance System is what I built.

What men ask before they start:

I travel a lot and my schedule changes every week. Will this work for me?

The system is built for exactly that situation. The training plan is personal to you and works in a commercial gym, a hotel gym, or at home with minimal equipment. The nutrition plan is built around how you actually eat — including eating out and irregular schedules. A lot of men on The Performance System travel regularly. The plan holds because it was designed for you.

I have tried online coaches before and it hasn't worked. Why would this be different?

The most common reason online coaching does not hold is that the plan didn't suit the man — the same template handed to every client with a different name on it. This system is a proven, personalised and adaptable plan with personalised targets set by Mike for your specific goal and starting point, adjusted based on your actual data. The 1-1 direct access and accountability is what catches the drift before it becomes a problem. That does not happen in a generic program.

Do I need a gym or can I train at home?

Either or both. Your training plan is built around what you have available — gym, home, or a mix of the two depending on the week. You confirm this on the Onboarding call before you start and Mike advises accordingly.

How much time does it actually take each week?

Three sessions per week. Forty-five minutes each. That is it for training (some do more, some do less). The nutrition side runs in the background — the targets are set, the guidelines are clear, and the decisions are removed. Food and habit tracking is optional and we can discuss the pros and cons for your exact situation.

What if it doesn't work for me?

If The Performance System is not producing results in the first 30 days, you get a full refund. No questions, no conditions, no awkward conversation. The risk is entirely on our side. If it doesn't work in the first month, you pay nothing.
